Discussion of HESUS JOY CHRIST – Matthew’s 2 4
Section H

“ On understanding attention sees forever .“

Original text from the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 24, verse 32 - 35
New International Version - Matthew 24 : 32 - 35

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: as soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things you know that it -b- is near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation -c- will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away . “

-b
or he -c or race instead of generation

First paraphrasing draft: October 21 – 27, 2008
· This end of world is (?) as it approaches so you know it will happen .
· You will be aware of this as it happens because Jesus has articulated it.
· [ The articulation is a further foundation of an eternal world . ]

Second paraphrasing draft: October 21 – 27, 2008
· When fruit is ripe, ravaging will come; it will happen now; your mind, heart and world will pass away but I say you will witness that I spoke of this, in your next world and heaven .

Third paraphrasing draft: November 1 – 7, 2008
· This is a pattern of events that occurs at every great catastrophic capsize and roll, that can be learned and recognized as a path of spiritual growth . This will happen to you, now and always . These are the words that I, Hesus Joy Christ, say, and pass along . Take them away with you when I send you forth, to the end of all until and beyond the end of time, and the beginning of timelessness .

Final paraphrasing draft:November 22, 2008

* On understanding attention sees forever .

October 13, 2009

Hopefully everyone had a thanks fulled, happy and peacefull Thanksgiving as I did with a turkey dinner we prepared last night to be enjoyed by Crystal, Sean, Dave ( the governor ) and myself.

This is the last of the original paraphrasings. It was late in January that I decided to include the entire chapter 24 of Matthew and so added three more lines to include the remainder of the chapter as an epilogue - Randy Price on the left having liquid lunch with Dan Barker on the right, as Brian Ainslie plows past : )

This "On understanding attention sees forever." seems pretty obvious to me. Jesus is talking about awareness extending beyond the end of a world. Awareness that was provided by Jesus. If you can see it you believe it. And because he told you ahead of time, as he says, your faith is increased as you see it happen when you pay attention .

Keep your wick trimmed and oil handy, bridesmaids !

When the fruit ripens you know the season is changing. When you see certain things you know and can anticipate a change . In your generation this will happen . Your understanding and your belongings will pass away but the Word will endure and survive along with you .

The Word is a provided understanding that will endure and survive all else, including heaven, your ideals, and earth, your accomplishments . On this understanding you can see forever. On this understanding you can see in a timeless way, beyond temporal interests . Trust me, you understand this more than you know, so do not be hindered by my articulation or even your own ability to articulate - whether sufficient or insufficient .

That's gotta' be enough words on this topic. Next week - next line .
