Goin' walkabout .

In spite of a medication related seizure on Monday evening, I've been cleared to participate in a Catholic Pilgrimage, walking, to Martyr's Shrine in Midland on Georgian Bay, leaving tomorrow from Burlington. Wish me all the best, cuz' I'm praying for all you poor suckers unable to attend . Honestly, after walking to Grand Valley ( running as far as Bolton ), alone, from Etobicoke, this group walk should really be a lot of fun . We are praying the issue of abortion . Broken in boots, a Sino-English Bible from last summer, and a brand new Rosary - and other junk, is all I'm taking as we camp and enjoy meals provided .

Below is a link to the Franco-Wendat settlement that has been reconstructed on the remains of the early 1630's settlement.
The second link is to the Shrine to the seven North American Martyr's who died serving the native community at Saint-Marie, by the hands of the English supported Iroquois .
