Since I get such a kick out of blathering on about this stuff, I'm continuing the discussion of the animation HESUS JOY CHRIST / Matthew's One Too!

Verse 24

from the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter Three, New International Version.

24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.

Verse 15

from the animation text of HESUS JOY CHRIST / Matthew's One Too ! by R David Foster

15 When David woke out, he began what he could do and took up animation to till out a wife .

Verse 15 Discussion

NIV Bible text verse 24

A living god is ever present and providing opportunities to anyone who is attentive. All one need do is pay attention and watch for these opportunities as they present themselves. As Joseph suffered indecision he rested in reason, until an overwhelming experience presented the opportunity of justification in the one option of many he had been deliberating on. It was a personal interior deliberation he had suffered, that was resolved in his heart due to an overwhelming experience of being in the presence of the angel of the Lord, in a dream, and being instructed as to how to proceed. The means by which he was to follow this command were readily available and the command was easy to carry out, especially once he had the resolve of a determined heart.

In my life, at the end of everything at both the end of 2008, and at the end of 2009, when everything had failed and it seemed all was lost, I deliberated what I should pursue in this world. When I looked around, it was apparent that everything I needed to produce the animated message of the importance of marriage, and present it, albeit in a limited way, was readily at hand, and furthermore, all other pursuits were problematic. I had a clear idea of the importance of marriage, based on what I had written in the winter of 2008 in a piece I called The Layman's Guide to Marriage ; I had the book of Matthew that spoke clearly to me and my experience; I had the means to produce animation at little cost; I had an income as well as problems with employment that forced me to not rely on employment; and the Revue Cinema was looking to screen anything it could get with their Drop Your Shorts, open screening program.

So I began, not knowing or having too much faith in where it would lead, but having the spirit to carry it out, and just enough faith to maintain the effort. I still have no idea where all this work will lead, but as I am able, I pursue this animation.

Not only do I need a wife, the world needs spouses that are prepared to follow through with marriage, the spiritual bond, as well as any other bonds that come along with it. Marriage, the spiritual bond, is far more important than the economic, social, family, physical, and even emotional bonds that come along with it, and this is overlooked in today's society. When any of these other bonds fail, the spiritual bond must be maintained to see the marriage through. These are the deaths that will occur and must be resolved by the spiritual bond. Why is this ?

In a world where religion and faith are considered to be highly questionable, marriage as the application of the christian religion and faith is a frequent casualty. But if the union of whole and part that is created through forgiveness of the opposing inclination, is fundamental to all of existence, no wonder the world is limited in what is possible ! Marriage is the forge of this union of whole and part, where understanding is crafted from experience and applied to all else. Each understanding will have a lifespan including birth, prevalence, accomplishment, failure and death, followed by the birth of a new understanding and this “second” understanding's lifespan. Marriage must be used as a resource and a foundation for this cycle of birth and death of understandings. It is the refuge and the battleground that resolves existence, death and birth.

Since I believe my marriage failed due to a lack of understanding of how important marriage is, I feel personally compelled to proclaim this understanding, in order to “till” or create an understanding that a spouse may hold and thereby allow a marriage, a spiritual bond. All people, not only spouses, need to understand how important the spiritual bond of marriage is, since marriage never exists in a vacuum and external pressures and influences can arise from anywhere and break the marriage bond.
